• Purpose of this Website

Within small groups, candidates discuss specific issues, concerns or interests related to a topic of choice. A group develops a ‘case’ or specific area of study related to the topic in which a challenging course-related issue, lesson or situation is detailed. Groups have an opportunity to continue the dialogue surrounding the case/topic and raise new questions. Each candidate finds a recent article related to their case/topic and post a synopsis of the key findings in their Educational Rounds group. Then, group members each read each others' research findings and serve as 'critical friends'. Finally, the group develops a “final product” related to their case/topic to be shared with their colleagues in the course.
